3 Ways To Turn PLR Into Unique Articles
Just like Morgan James of Saskatchewan, you didn’t want to pay a writer top dollar for unique articles and you didn’t have the time to write your own, so you decided to buy PLR articles from an online PLR store. The articles were great and you were very pleased with your purchase. However, when you looked on Google, you found that there were already a couple other sites on the web that were running these identical articles. What do you do?
As you probably know, PLR articles have to be the fastest and cheapest way to get a huge amount of content for your site. In fact, updating your site this way is so easy it is almost idiot proof. However, just like Morgan you will soon find that if you use any PLR articles right out of the box, they could harm your business.
One article the same as others on the web may not matter, but what about a whole pack of 10, 20 or 50? The search engines may see your site as nothing more than a mirror of other sites. That will not do much for your search engine ratings. So, is it still worth buying PLR?
Sure it is, because there are three simple steps you can take to make your article ‘unique’.
1) Add Your Own First Paragraph
Make up an introductory sentence or two, like the problem scenario that I put in the first paragraph of this article. It attracts the reader’s interest and makes your article start differently than the others. The first paragraph is especially important to the search engines.
Or, you can simply rewrite the first paragraph of the PLR.
2) Add a Quotation
Pick out a relevant quotation that you can add into the middle of your article like this:
=================
“The fashion of this world passes away.” (I Corinthians 7:31)
=================
In fact, if it’s interesting enough, it doesn’t even have to be relevant. Just be sure to credit the person who wrote it, especially if there is any chance it may be copyright.
3) Make Changes In The Final Paragraph
The last paragraph is not quite as critical as the first, but it’s given a little more weight than the middle paragraphs so it’s worth either adding a few sentences of your own or editing what’s already there. Make sure your main keyword goes in there and you may want to add a link to another relevant page on your site, or an affiliate program, etc.
Changing the ending of even the best PLR articles will give them a unique flavor that fits well with the rest of your site. With these few changes, the reader will have a different experience at your site and that is what the search engines are looking for. As if by magic, your site is full of unique articles.
