Where Would You Rather Be?
Let me ask you a question: where would you rather be?
(a) On your way to a sun-drenched California beach with Frank Kern
(b) On your way to a McDonalds in a nameless grey-sky city with Mike Filsaime
I think we know the answer, don’t we? That is unless you have a serious Big Mac habit or have some personal grudge against Frank Kern.
Earlier this year you may remember there was a little launch for a product called Mass Control where Frank Kern gave away some truly valuable marketing information in a series of videos in return for your email. In one of those videos he asked you along while he jumped in his car and drove to the beach.
If you signed up for the emails you may recall that the subject line would always begin “it’s frank…” And maybe you noticed that just a couple of weeks later Mike Filsaime’s emails started coming in with subject line “it’s mike…”
So right now you may have seen that there’s a little launch going on for a product called Traffic Fusion and on the main page there’s a video where you’re invited to watch – guess what – Mike Filsaime jumping into his car and driving to McDonalds. And then he wants you to give him your email to get access to 2 more videos.
But … McDonalds? And with NO valuable information imparted along the way?
People, if you are tempted to copy someone else’s marketing tactics right out in the open like this, please don’t make the same mistake. Don’t do a WORSE copy
The unfortunate thing about this is that Mike Filsaime’s next two videos are GREAT … but you might never know.
I wouldn’t have known. The first time I viewed the page, I started laughing and clicked the X about 30 seconds into the first video. I didn’t give my email – no way – so I would never have watched the others at all if it weren’t for Jason Potash of Traffic Kahuna who wrote this morning saying not to even bother looking at the first video, just enter your details and click through. So I took his advice, and I’m passing it along to you.
The second two videos are a real must-see if you are are selling any product of your own online, or if you plan to create a product. You’ll see MF giving a seminar presentation where he sets out a lot of different methods of ’stealth marketing’. You get JV partners to promote your product – but NOT by sending out email to their lists. You’ll be offering them a much easier way.
The videos are free in exchange for your email and MF has released them to promote his new product Traffic Fusion which you’ll have to make up your own mind about. I won’t be buying it. But I did take two pages of notes from that seminar presentation.
Here’s the link – the naked link, I’m not an affiliate:
Just don’t waste time watching that first video – submit your details and wait for the link to view the next two. That is unless you have nothing better to do today than watch somebody driving to his local McDonalds …
