Creating Search Engine Traffic To Your Blog Quickly and Effortlessly

If you have arranged the hosting and published your blog and started to write the occasional sensible posts, the next question on your mind will be how to generate traffic to a blog, without going to the pointless expenditure of paying for it. There are quite a few ways.

Firstly, it’s imperative to take care that your blog is equipped for the attention of the search engines. Be posting to it one or two times a week, as a minimum. A lot of original, exclusive content is what the search engines like and if you give them that, then they will reward you with more visitors. In doing this make sure that the posts are a practical length. What this is varies depending on who you are chatting to, but I’d say one or two posts per week of 250 plus words each should interest the search engines.

Now that you have prepared that, you need to persuade the search engines that you certainly are worthy. To do this you require links in from other blogs and websites. The search engines see these links as a sign of confidence from these sites that your site is worth a link, and thus you must be worthy of them.

So how do you find loads of links? Formerly, many site owners, myself included, have gone through link exchange directories adding their links to as many as possible. It didn’t matter how related the site or the page was, more the merrier. But, I think that is old hat and the search engines are starting to disregard such techniques. You need to be more careful and careful on where you link to, even receiving one way links where feasible, over reciprocal link arrangements.

The next trick a lot of people try is posting comments to other people’s blogs. Done suitably and with consideration for the blog you are posting too, this can be truly beneficial. Find a blog that is connected, or at least the post is connected, to your own content. Write a truly useful comment on that post. Make it a comment that the site owner will read and approve. You don’t need, in the majority of the option of leaving your name and associating it with your website. There’s the link back.

After that you can reword slightly your posts and submit then to popular article directories. But again, there are problems there. Website owners are intended to pick up your article and republish it, with a couple of links in return to your site. But countless are underhanded and remove the link, whilst others will link back to the links directory. They are worth a shot nonetheless. For the investment of a relatively small amount of time you can potentially get loads of links back to your own site.

If you want to find out concerning an article directory that gets around these problems or find out more about work from home ideas, visit the blog.
