The Renegade Professional – Is The Renegade System A Scam?

It seems despite the Renegade system being with us now for almost two years, network marketers are still struggling with the concept of attraction marketing and pre-selling.

There is still a strong indication that most networkers want to lead with their company and products right off the bat without at least trying to get to know their prospects. In other words, earning a prospect’s trust is paramount in getting them to a stage where they see you as enough of an authority to want to probe deeper into what you actually do to earn success.

Ann Sieg produced an a attraction marketing blueprint with the Renegade Network Marketer which should have been a clear sign to most networkers who have read it that unless you are providing prospects with value from the time they enter your business funnel, then you will struggle to keep them interested in what you have to offer.

Should you lead with your company and product first? Well, put yourself in the shoes of a prospect. If you are looking for a financial opportunity, one which can set you and your family up for life then would you be prone to listen to someone coming at you at a hundred miles an hour why a particular company is your best option.

Creating A Prospecting Stampede

Let’s look at an example of how much of a turn off this can be. A recent exercise was conducted where we went into a busy network marketing forum and posed this question:

“As a new person to network marketing and looking at starting a business, can anyone offer some solid advice about how I should get started and what would be the best and most efficient way for me to reach my initial goal of creating a trickle of income.”

Wow! The responses floored us. Not one person offered any training or education at all. It was like throwing a piece of steak into a pirahna tank and we don’t mean to sound unkind but this was a feeding frenzy. Every response wanted to tell us they had the best company and product and now was a great time to join.

We were surprised in a way because a comment was made recently suggesting the Renegade training system is so overdone that every one is now online marketing their business. That really is a load of you know what. For starters, the internet is so big that this will never happen…ever. But wouldn’t you think if that was the case that just a few of the responses I got would have at least offered me a little value?

Not one person referred me to a resource anywhere or offered me a report of any kind. It was walking through a third world market and being serenaded by people yelling “buy this…buy this.” No, I’m afraid the Renegade system hasn’t even scratched the surface and there is still a long, long way to go before internet network marketing comes of age.

And as for the training ground mentioned earlier, The Renegade Professional offers the practical to the theory laid out in The Renegade Network Marketer. But the truth is, if you are still practicing the “sign up at aall cost sales pitch” then you are probably fighting a losing battle.
