Make A Fortune Network Marketing With Focus

Do you have what it takes to make a fortune network marketing? Some people do … but maybe that is not your goal. Even if you only want to pay the bills, to be any kind of success in your own home business you will need to develop the skill of focusing.

Running a successful work from home business is the dream for many people today. Whether you want to spend more time with the kids, make a few bucks while you’re home anyway, hate your boss, or simply resent the time wasted in the daily commute, a network marketing internet business can be the ideal work at home solution.

However it is important to choose carefully. Every day we receive emails promising great wealth and financial security, but we know deep down that it’s never as easy as it sounds.

The Truth About The 90% Failure Rate

The drop out rate in MLM or network marketing businesses is huge. Around 90% of new recruits will not make it. This gives MLM a bad press. But did you know that the failure rate for any other type of self-employment work from home is just as high?

The problem is not the fact that it’s MLM. The problem is that it’s tough running any kind of home business. Sometimes the issues are financial: costs can be higher than expected and income takes longer to arrive. But the main difficulty that most people have can be summed up in one word:

Focus.

Distractions, interruptions, lack of motivation, spending too much time on unproductive tasks … working from home with no boss hanging over us, we all suffer from some if not all of these issues. They all lead to bad time management and lack of focus, and that means, less money coming in.

The worst thing we can do is hop from one task to another during the day. Every time we switch from one thing to another, we waste time getting into the ‘zone’ of the new task. Recent research suggested that it can take as much as 20 minutes to get completely into the zone of whatever we are doing. Only then are we truly focused on the task and able to work most effectively.

Sure, have a break when you need it, but if you are still in the middle of a task, keep your break short. A little physical exercise is fine but don’t answer the phone, switch on the TV or start reading something. Keep your mind on the task that you were doing and take a notebook so you can write down ideas about it that come to you during your break.

Set a schedule and stick to it, without distractions and interruptions. Focus on the most important task that you have to do that day, and don’t start any other work until it is completed.

Focus is the most important skill you can develop if you want to make a fortune network marketing – or even just pay the rent.
